The actual code Satoshi Nakamoto published in the Bitcoin whitepaper, October 2008 — a probability calculation showing how many block confirmations are needed before a transaction can be considered safe from a double-spend attack. Section 11, "Calculations," is the only block of executable code in the entire paper. Everything Bitcoin has done since — every transaction, every block, every fork — descends from the math in these lines.
